WEDDING FAQ
The booking process
To secure your date, a 30% non-refundable retainer & signed contract (once sent by us) are required. You can choose to send/make smaller monthly payment for the remaining balance. Your remaining balance is due no later than 4 weeks prior to your wedding date.
Do you shoot destination weddings?
I love travel so the answer to that is ABSOLUTELY! If you're planning a wedding outside of the Illawarra or even AUSTRALIA, please don't hesitate to contact me and I will tailor a package to best suit you!
Travel Fee?
I am based in Wollongong, NSW and Travel fee may be applicable for weddings outside of the Illawarra, South Coast region.
Can I extend the session on the day of the wedding?
Sessions extended on the day of the wedding will be charged at $350 per hour.
Turn around time
You can expect to receive your images approximately 6-8 weeks following your wedding, with sneak peeks popping up within the next few days following your wedding!
How many images?
I do not put a cap on the number of images I capture, however, the number depends on the number of hours covered as well as the details and activities occurring throughout the day. You will receive roughly 50-100+ images per hour of coverage.
Do I have to order prints through you?
The images I deliver will be high-resolution images that downloads without watermark. This gives you the flexibility to print the images yourself. However, I can not guarantee the quality of prints purchased outside of Tale Thief Photography.
What kind of gear do you use?
I'm a Canon girl with a preference for Sigma lenses. On your wedding day, I will be doning the following gear:
- Canon 5D MK III
- Canon 6D MK II
- Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L
- Canon 85mm f/1.8
- Sigma 35mm f/1.4 Art
- Sigma 20mm f/1.4 Art
Boudoir Session
When I'm not shooting weddings or events, I specialise in photographing boudoir both out of my light-filled studio and on-the-day of the wedding. It's a unique gift for your partner and the perfect way to treat yourself!
